INTRODUCTION You walk along the side of the Jungle, hungry. You had been told before that there was lots of food here, but it was dangerous. You don't care, of course. Hunger was the only thing keeping you from falling asleep and never waking up. You part a few bushes and enter the Jungle, hearing parrots chirping loudly. You see berries and dive at them, eating them quickly. You're still hungry, so you keep going. You find a small parrot, laying dead on the mossy ground. You eat it, and you're still hungry. You keep going, until you see a deceased monkey and gleefully chew on it. Still hungry. You keep looking, until you find a suspicious trail of reptiles. You follow it, eating them as you go. You hear loud crunching of something following you, and turn back. Nothing. You shrug it off and keep going. "Either you're super duper fat or REALLY hungry!" A happy voice giggles. You spin around. Nobody. You turn back around and make contact with a huge dog's chest. You scream and fall back. "What's a young cat/dog like you doing 'round here?" She tilted her head, sticking her nose in your face. You leap to your feet and mutter an excuse about just wanting food. "Oh! I'm Oriole! If you need food, I've got plenty! Right in mah BEELLYYYYY!" She laughed, eyes crinkling up from joy. You can't figure if she's funny or insane. You speak, your voice gentle. "I'm <name>." "WHAT A BEAUTIFUL NAME! It appears Aves has blessed us with a new friend!" She exclaims, and you decide she is insane. "You're scaring them, Oriole." A gentle, calm voice purrs and a shecat comes out of the shadows, seeming like a mouse in comparison to the huge dog. "But Aves blessed us! You have to be happy, my love!!" She whined. "Yes, dear. I'm overjoyed. I'm Vera." She sighed, rolling her eyes. "Who is.. we?" You butt in, but soon wish you didn't. Dozens of cats and dogs leap from the trees, or hang from them. "We? Oh, we're just a tribe, nothing special!" Ori laughs. "We are the birds who chirp at night. Who fly and soar in the sky." Vera speaks. "We are the Feathered Spirits. Welcome to our paradise."

RELIGION Feathered Spirits worships a god called Aves. Most believe he is why we are where we are now, free from danger, and safe deep in our Jungle. We also believe in our Ancestors. Most believe they are the Messengers of Aves, who come to spread his messages to our Feather Readers. Feather Reades, due to their work, are not allowed to have mates.

THE HEIRARCHY🐦

RANK DESCRIPTIONS

Cranes★	The ones that lead the clan. These two make the decisions and performs ceremonies. Decisions include if the Tribe goes to war, what punishments a cat gets, etc. This rank has a limit of two members.	Hatchlings★	The Hatchlings are the youngest members of the Tribe. They are not allowed to leave camp, and if they do they can get into some serious trouble.
Herons★	The Herons are second in charge, and acts as leader when the leader can't lead. They usually organize patrols, helps enforce the rules, etc. This rank has a limit of two members.	Ancients★	The elders are the oldest members of the Clan. They are usually retired Warriors, Leaders, or Medicine Cats. Sometimes, a cat will be put into the Elder's den early if they cannot do their duties.
Feather Readers★	The Feather Readers are the prophets of the Tribe. They consist of the Feather Reader and their Apprentice, who is learning how to read signs from the Feathers they collect and use similar to tarot readings. There may only be one Feather Reader and one Feather Reader's apprentice at a time.	Caregivers★	Caregivers are usually mothers of Hatchlings, but ones given this permanent rank take care of the Tribe's youth, no matter their gender. Male caregivers usually stand in as a father, and female caregivers stand in as a mother.
Herbalists★	The Herbalists are the Healers of the Tribe. They gather herbs, use them to help Tribemates, and function like a normal Medicine Cat, minus the prophecies. There may only be two Herbalists, who may have one apprentice a piece.	Visitors★	These are people who are visiting us! They may not be listed here all the time, but they sure are welcome! They sometimes may be visiting because they want to join, they're our friend, or they're a past member!
Skinners★	The Skinners are one of the most important parts of the Tribe. They hunt and fight for the Clan, and are usually given Fledgelings to train. She-cats become Caregivers when they are going to have kits. If the Leader sees them fit for it, they are sometimes promoted to Elite. There is an unlimited number of Skinners, but only five elites.
Fledgelings★	The Fledgelings are cats learning to become Skinners. They are assigned a mentor, and are then taught how to fight, hunt, and how to live by the our rules.
