WELCOME

A strange sound floats through a towering forest, an echo in the woods. You come to a sudden stop your paws halting in the soft earth. A frown creases your features as silence settles over the forest like a dense blanket. You take a few cautious steps forward before the forest seemed to erupt again with an unearthly sound. You take off before your body can respond. Green blurs your vision as you expertly dodge trees and leap over fallen logs as the sound urges you on. Your mind has led you somewhere, somewhere you didn't know existed. But it was the scene. What was happening in this hidden clearing? That surprised you the most.

A dozen wolves and canines alike stood in a semi-circle, words seem to flow from their jaws like water rushing downstream. A dead buck lay in the center of the clearing, dried blood crusting its stomach and throat from where the wolves had taken its life. Black, glassy, lifeless eyes of the hunted animal stare at you, causing you to take a hasty step back. The chanting stopped abruptly, and two dozen eyes became fixed on you. You tried to move but your paws seemed rooted to the ground. They all moved at once, fur bristling and eyes gleaming. They stopped a few steps in front of you, you wanted to move, to turn, to flee. But it seemed impossible. If only you turned, just an inch, to peer into the shadows. You would have seen the ripple in the shadows, the glinting amber eyes.

The breath is knocked out of you as a force, three times the size of yourself slams into you, causing your legs to buckle and your body to crash into the ground. Paws press into the back of your neck, sending pinpricks of pain down your spine. You can't see what's above you, but the hot breath curling around your face indicates that it is another wolf. The pack seems to separate, creating a pathway between them. You try to move to get a better view, only to get pressed back into the ground harshly, your muzzle filling with dirt. You splutter desperately but quickly go silent as a large she-wolf makes her way through the gap, her power was evident, it was obvious she was a high rank. Her piercing gaze rests on something above you. Relief courses through you as the weight is lifted and you scramble to your paws, taking in large gulps of air.

"Is there a reason you are trespassing in The Tribe's sacred ground?" She asks with a powerful voice, a threat underlining her words. Unable to answer, you shake your head vigorously, flattening your ears to your head.

"Seems like the pup has lost its bark" She sneers, prowling towards you. Your eyes dart around nervously as snickers ripple through the canines and wolves. A monumental wolf stood off to the right, watching through slitted eyes, and it comes to you, that he must have been the one holding you down. Your thoughts are cut off when she advances, causing you to somewhat cower away from her patronizing eyes and obvious authority.

"I'll give you a chance, pup," She says lowly, a growl slipping in at the end. "You can join The Tribe," She stops briefly, giving you a look up and down before continuing, "Or you can try run away" She prowls behind you, appearing on your side, causing you to jump. "But I must add, we love a good chase" She drawls out, making her way so she stood in front of you, the pack flanking her sides, their eyes gleaming with anticipation.

"So, what will it be?"


ABOUT


CHARACTERISTICS

  • The tribe relies on loyalty and is family-oriented. When a newcomer joins, they are kind but cannot fully trust until they've been a part of the Tribe for a long time. You won't notice this however because they hardly ever show the expression they're feeling if it's a negative emotion.
  • They care about their family strongly and will do almost anything for someone in the pack.
  • They are tough, stubborn, intelligent, calculating, adventurous, and brave.
  • Smaller wolves will sometimes get teased.
  • They're usually very thoughtful on subjects like war because losing wolves are one of the last things they want. Pointless fighting is an annoyance as well.
  • Overall, the first thing you'll notice about these wolves is that they're seriously intimidating and appear closed-off and cold. It will change once you're apart of the pack but to unknown packs and other wolves, they're hard and cautious.

PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES

  • All pure-blooded Tribe wolves come in different colors ranging from cream, brown, gray, or black. Eye colors range from yellow and amber to light blue and gray. Uncommon colors are green or lighter colors but can occur in our wolves.
  • Tribe wolfs sometimes have big paws.
  • They mostly all have unnoticeable curved fangs, rough paw pads, and medium length or long fur.
  • most pure-blooded Tribe wolves are large or tall with muscle but it's not uncommon to find a runt in the pack that's smaller
  • Smaller wolves usually make up the lack of strength with speed and being lighter makes it easier for them to be stealthy.
  • Most Tribe wolves are still fast and trained to be the stealthiest as possible.
  • The large wolves usually use the natural strength they acquire after pup hood and adolescence to shove their prey or opponent to the ground and keep them there.



GENERAL RULES


RESPECT

Always give respects to the ranks above you.

Respect should be given to everybody. Even individuals from another group (however, this may be disregarded under certain circumstances). Respect everyone's thoughts, ideas, ethnicity, sexuality, religion, etc. Even if it's not what you agree with. This applies to the comments, threads, discord, and in the game.

PUNISHMENT: Demotion or possible exile, depending on the situation.



LOYALTY

We do not, nor will we ever, allow double grouping. Your time and loyalty should remain here, in the Tribe. While you're here, your loyalty should only belong to us and you should never feel the need to betray us. Even if you have a friend in another group, you must be ready to face them if anything happens. If you want to leave, you must make sure you have left a leaving form and we have taken you off of this page, or intend to take you off soon.

Addressing the topic of Side-Groups: The only side-groups you are allowed to be in are the ones that are thread or discord related. No other side-groups are allowed. Any side-group that roleplays on Animaljam isn't allowed. Even then, your focus should be here.

Betrayal is something that is simply unforgivable, so the punishment given is completely fair.

PUNISHMENT: Warnings will be delivered if you are suspected of doing anything questionable. If you do not heed the warning you'll be exiled.



DRAMA

Drama is only allowed for plots. Causing a war with other groups is unacceptable and will get you exiled. Don't hold things against someone based on what their OC did. As cheesy as it sounds, drama usually only tears people apart; we'd rather bring people together. Do not build up the suspicion that has no reason to be there. Do not spread assumptions until you've proven them correct.

PUNISHMENT: A warning will be delivered if you have been starting minor drama. Exclusion from plots, gatherings, or activities if it's major. If it is worse, a discussion will be held or you will just be promptly exiled.



ACTIVITY

Everyone has a life outside of the group, but try to be as active as you can; being active is another significant part of keeping a group healthy. If you know that you'll be gone for a while, leave a hiatus form, please. That way we won't have to exile you and can instead let you remain in the group. Do not hassle someone for being absent if they've given a reason to be. If you've been inactive for over two weeks you will be put on the inactive watchlist and eventually removed the next week. Don't worry, you can come back if you ever return.

PUNISHMENT: Put on the Absent List and removed from the page.



IDENTIFICATION

Always wear a white tag at all times when you're with us and even if you're not. If your tag is different out of roleplay you could be suspected of being acquainted with another group. If you are suspected, you might be followed or questioned.

PUNISHMENT: Possibly exiled.



CHARACTER LIMIT

The OC limit is currently one. Having more gets very confusing for everybody. Please, attempt to create a character you enjoy so you won't feel the need to change into a different one.

If you'd like to change OCs, you'll have to wait one month.

PUNISHMENT: Failure in following instructions can lead to a demotion or worse.



DEPARTURE

You will have three times to leave. After that, you are exiled. It is suggested that you visit first so you are sure that this is the home for you. Attempt to stay for at least a week before you decide to leave. Everybody's first time is different and changes each day, so don't be too quick to judge.

PUNISHMENT: After the third time upon leaving, you will be permanently exiled.



ROLEPLAY PROTOCOL


KEEP YOUR FOCUS

You should remain serious unless there are plenty of others joking around as well. We will have time to mess around but when we are roleplaying it is key for your focus to be on roleplaying. Do not become distracted by your friends, especially the ones who may be visiting. If you have a thought, keep it in parenthesis (). It would also be helpful, if we kept joking comments to ourselves during something serious, like gatherings, for example.

You set the standard for the whole group. When people look at you, we want them to know that we're mature and can handle things seriously.

PUNISHMENT: You will get warned first. After that, depending on how the higher ranks feel, you might be excluded from plots, gatherings, or activities.



OBEDIENCE

There should be no reason that you argue with the higher ranks. If you disagree with a topic it should be privately discussed between all parties included and the higher ranks. Arguing repetitively with a high ranking individual will be handled with a warning and then punishment.

PUNISHMENT: You will get warned first. After that, depending on how the higher ranks feel, you might be excluded from plots, gatherings, or activities. Next, is exile.



Regarding Relationships

  • Do not form a relationship out of thin air and in a couple of days, it isn't realistic.
  • Do not suddenly have pups after having a mate for a few days. Cherish the new mate you have first.
  • Planning a ship is fine so long as you take it slow.


PUNISHMENT: You will get warned first.



FOR PUPS

  • Pups without parents will be taken care of by the den mothers, even if they have their own. If there are none, the pup will be watched over by the pack.
  • Pups are not allowed to leave the camp without an adult.
  • Pups are not allowed to fight, hunt, or join on patrols unless it is an emergency or allowed by a high ranking member.
  • Pups cannot have mates. Tiny admirations are allowed.


FOR ADOLESCENTS

  • Adolescents are expected to do work around the camp if asked.
  • Adolescents are not allowed to leave the camp without an adult.
  • Adolescents are expected to train with their mentor if called to.
  • Adolescents need to have their mentors approval before they're promoted.
  • Adolescents have to complete a test of skill under the watch of a high rank and a few other adults. The test includes fighting, hunting, swimming, stealth, and climbing.
  • Adolescents cannot have mates.

HIERARCHY

CHIEFS 【1/2】 SUCCESSOR 【0/1】

The Chiefs are at the top of the pack's chain of command and will make all final decisions. They sometimes plan meetings, gatherings, and will have a say in other large events. It is a huge honor to serve the pack but is also a very heavy weight upon their shoulders. They are strong-willed, reliable, brave, and will unquestionably die for the pack if they must.

The Successor is second in the pack's chain of command and as their name says, will take over for a Chief. They usually do things a step down from them, such as creating patrols or times to spar and keep watch over the pack. They have been chosen for a reason and deserve respect.
